About Us

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our rescue. We would like to introduce ourselves and outline the work we do. We are POINTER Rescue Serbia. Our dogs are rescued from all kinds of situations on the Balkans with the sole aim of finding them suitable homes in the UK. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by a team of trustees, volunteers and our wonderful Facebook group members.

At POINTER Rescue Serbia we try to help as many of these dogs as we can. They are often found starving, unwanted, injured and in pain. All of our rescues go straight to our vet for a full check-up and any urgent medical treatment. As soon as they are fit & well, they are welcomed into our comfortable rescue centre by our dedicated staff.

Our dogs have often been through a lot and need loving care in a calm environment so we home our dogs in groups of 4 or 5 to a 'dormitory'. They each have a cosy bed and can enjoy the company of their friends while we look for homes for them in the UK.
