This lovely English Pointer was rescued in February 2018 from a government-run shelter that should have been closed down two months earlier. She was alone and in need. She was microchipped so was owned at one time but had been abandoned, which often happens to unwanted hunting dogs.
When she came to us at PRS she was underweight and tested positive for Heartworm and Anaplasmosis from tick bites. She is receiving treatment for this and we hope for her to be clear of Heartworm very soon. On her last trip in June she was down to just 4% which is super news. Delia has a passport and is FAVN titre tested.
