German Shorthaired Pointer

The newest addition to PRS, Franz was collected from Novi Sad in May 2020. He is a lovely, happy boy with a tail that won't stop wagging. This is all despite not having the best start in life.

He was bought by a hunter as a puppy but since he wasn't very good at this job his days were numbered. Thankfully his plight was brought to our attention by a kind man who cared for him until we could collect. 

​

Despite his happy demeanour, he was clearly in need of veterinary care. Obviously underweight, he has also tested positive for heartworm and has scabies and a urinary infection.    

​

We hope that with the love and care given by our dedicated team at PRS this lovely boy will soon be ready for a new start.
