English Pointer

DOB: March 2016

Sex: Female

Status: Available to adopt - Due in UK Foster Autumn 2020

Helena was dumped high on a mountain in Divicibare, Serbia in the middle of winter. Her condition suggested that she had recently had a litter of puppies. She had an infection and the build up of milk was causing her pain. Sadly we will never know what happened to her puppies.

Helena has recently been declared heartworm clear, has her passport ready and is FAVN titre tested. She is also very cat friendly so would be more than happy to have some feline friends.

The fearless feline who puts our dogs to the test

Every dog that comes to PRS is trialled on a cat test with Attila, a vital member of our team. She's a feisty lady who we know can hold her own, she runs and hides from no one!

As many of these dogs are ex-hunters they can have high prey drives. Therefore, we carefully introduce each new member so that we can assure you of their potential suitability in your home.

This video illustrates Helena's encounter with some Team Serbia cats, before Attila arrived with us. As you can see she is very friendly and we feel she would be fine with cats.
