German Wirehaired Pointer

Jackson is a large GWP but he has a very gentle nature. We expect that's why his former hunter owner decided that he was no longer of use for hunting.

We rescued Jackson on St. Valentines Day, after 3 weeks in a kill shelter. The shelter has a 30-day policy, he was just a week away from being destroyed. 

​

Aside from Heartworm, Jackson had a skin issue, Babesia infection from all the ticks he was covered in and an infection in his ears. He is currently undergoing treatment to bring him back to full health.
