McCABE
English Pointer
McCabe was rescued from a Serbian family who didn’t take very good care of him. When we took him to our vet clinic he was a little scared at first but once he realised he was safe, his lovely gentle nature shone through. He has passed his cat test.
Our poor boy was diagnosed with heartworm, a common problem in Serbia and scabies in his ears. On top of that, he was in the early stages of pneumonia and had a lump on his back where he may have been bitten by another dog or perhaps kicked.
He has recovered well, although he is still undergoing treatment for heartworm. We hope he will be clear soon so if you can offer McCabe an experienced Pointer home, please be in touch.
